Resolved: that Councillor James Tonkin be elected Chairman for the meeting.

            Resolved: that the hearing procedure be adopted.

LA 2003 Application for variation of premises licence: Muddys, 1 Birnbeck Road, Weston-super-Mare BS23 2EE (Agenda item 59

           

            George Rowe for the Director of Development and Environment reported on an application for variation of an existing premises licence and responded to questions. The applicants were not in attendance for consideration of this matter, however a representative of Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that subsequent to the submission of the police representation modified conditions had been agreed with the applicants. No members of the public who had made representations were in attendance.

 

 

            Resolved: that the application for variation of the Premises Licence be granted as per the agreed modified conditions.

LA 2003 Application for variation of premises licence: The London Inn, 110 High Street, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1HP (Agenda item 6)

 

Amanda Hodge for the Director of Development and Environment reported on an application for variation of an existing premises licence and responded to questions. No members of the public were present, however a representative of Avon and Somerset Constabulary was in attendance to respond to questions regarding the representation made by the police. The applicant addressed the Sub-Committee and then responded to questions.

 

            Resolved: that the application for variation of the Premises Licence be granted with modifications to the hours of licensable activities.
