Review of combined driverís licence: Case No. 03-2018/19 (Agenda item 6)

 

††††††††††††† The Director of Development & Environment reported on the review of a combined driverís licence. The licence holder had indicated that she was unable to attend the Hearing.

††††††††††††† Resolved: that consideration of the matter be deferred until 26 November to enable the licence holder to attend to present a defence of the alleged breach of the terms and conditions of her combined driverís licence.

Review of private hire driverís licence: Case No. 04-2018/19 (Agenda item 7)

 

††††††††††††† The Director of Development & Environment reported on the review of a private hire driverís licence. The Sub-Committee was advised that the licence holder was serving a custodial sentence and had been unable to attend the Hearing. No representative was in attendance on his behalf.

 

††††††††††††† Resolved: that the licence be revoked forthwith, as the licence holder is not a fit and proper person to hold a Private Hire Driverís Licence.
